Formed in 1968, the Stark County Bicycle Club (the “SCBC”) is a not-for-profit, fraternal organization located in Canton, Ohio.  The SCBC is primarily an on-road cycling Club, however, trail/towpath rides are offered as well.  Not only does the SCBC boast the finest ride schedule in all of Ohio, but the Club takes its community involvement seriously, offering safety classes for youngsters and volunteering at various community events such as the Canalway Bicycle Poker Run benefiting the Massillon Area Greenways, Inc. (MAGI) and the annual North Canton Kid’s Triathlon.  Proudly, in 1993, the SCBC became the first organization in the State of Ohio to “adopt” a highway under the State’s Adopt-A-Highway program.

Since 1978 the Ernie’s name has been synonymous with two things: riding bikes and having fun. Stop by any of our shops to find out why. And remember… Go for a ride, and everything will be OK.
